An exhibition of projects, accomplishments and skills as an aspiring journalist and radio announcer.
Here's a compilation of radio, podcasting, and video projects.
As a dedicated university student with a strong commitment to a career in radio, digital, and broadcasting journalism, I am passionate about impactful storytelling and promoting diversity within the media industry. My goal is to work in radio and deliver engaging, factual, and inclusive content that resonates with audiences across various platforms.
Throughout my studies and practical experiences, I have had the opportunity to develop and refine my skills. Notable projects I’ve worked on include producing audio packages on the impact of AI deepfakes on women, featuring an interview with 2019 Australian of the Year Noelle Martin; covering the Mog Khawn Crisis and its effects on Thailand's indigenous communities; and exploring the representation of women in video games, both on-screen and behind the scenes. These experiences have allowed me to hone my skills in research, interviewing, and audio production.
I have also gained valuable experience through my work with Radio Metro, a Zedlines internship at 4ZZZ, and hosting and panelling the Brisbane Line show, along with volunteering for various university-led journalism projects. Most recently, I completed an internship with ABC News and ABC Radio, where I further developed my journalistic skills and industry knowledge.
Highly motivated and always eager to learn, I am actively seeking opportunities for internships, casual work, and part-time roles to continue honing my skills and further establish my professional identity and further my career.
